Leiria Polytechnic organizes a carnival dance

For the first time,Polytechnic of Leiria decided to organize a Carnival ball, held on February 23rd, serving as a motto for the begining of second semester as well as reception of international students. More than fifty students from Ecuador, Spain, Italy and Brazil accepted the invitation and came perfectly masked to enjoy a good time. Between choreographies of various rhythms, always under the baton of our Brazilian exchange student, there was room for election of the best mask entilted to a prize and parade.
It is intended with this kind of gatherings to create contexts of proximity that facilitate students social and academic integration, providing them a multicultural encounter so that they can meet new students from other nationalities establishing relationships that hopefully will last in time, beyond  academic borders.
