Polytechnique of Leiria promotes International Gathering 

On the 21st December, international students gathered in Serviços Centrais Polytechnic of Leiria to get into the spirit of Christmas. Celebrating this holiday at home country can be expensive so many international students choose to remain in campus during the holidays. Being with other students and be able to share familiar traditions by cooking something typical of their country and culture was the purpose of the Polytechnic of Leiria when it decided to organize activities for students over the Christmas break. This was also a great chance for students to meet each other celebrating not only Christmas but to share experience while studying abroad! Like last year it was more like a multicultural community meeting than the typical family reunion. In a spirit of peace, friendship and goodwill, a network of relationship is established that hopefully will remain alive even after studies.
