Our Center for Applied Research in Management and Economics (CARME) recently saw its research work doubly recognized in different capacities.

CARME researcher Teresa Eugénio, and her former Master’s Degree student Sandra Lopes, received the “Luiz Chaves de Almeida Accounting Award”, which distinguishes the best research work in accounting. This award, currently in its 25th edition, is awarded by the Portuguese Association of Accountants (APOTEC). The winning research  work is entitled “Non-Financial Reporting in the Natural Mineral Waters Sector: ODS Relationship and Metrics”.

Another CARME researcher, Tânia Marques, received the “Best Publication Award for Young Investigators” from the XXVIII Luso-Spanish Scientific Management Conference. The title of the work is “Responsible Leadership as an Incentive to Commitment, Citizenship Behavior and Individual Performance”, co-authored by CARME researcher and Vanessa Ferreira, former student of our School of Technology and Management (ESTG), and Jorge Gomes, University of Lisbon.

Congratulations to both! And to CARME!
