{"id":2116,"date":"2019-08-02T11:13:36","date_gmt":"2019-08-02T10:13:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ipleiria.pt\/?page_id=2116"},"modified":"2021-08-23T15:47:15","modified_gmt":"2021-08-23T14:47:15","slug":"u-bike","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ipleiria.pt\/en\/live\/student-life\/u-bike\/","title":{"rendered":"u-Bike"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-container-3 wp-block-columns\">\n<div class=\"wp-container-1 wp-block-column\">\n<h2 class=\"is-style-theme-subtitle\"><strong>sustainability<\/strong> in practice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-theme-title\">u-Bike<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All members of the academic community can apply to be assigned one of our u-Bikes, as long as they confirm they hold a driving license, regularly travel to and from campus on fossil fuel-driven vehicles and will commit to ride a minimum of 40 km (25 miles) per month (slightly over 1km per day).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your application is successful, you&#8217;ll receive one of our u-bikes, which will be yours for the next 6 months. You must meet the monthly mileage target and take good care of your bike. You will be responsible for the appropriate maintenance of your bike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>u-Bikes are equipped with a real-time georeferencing and communication system that will provide us with the path and km\/miles travelled.
