Support Centre \u2014 that aims to promote mental health and overall wellbeing within the academic community, foster students\u2019 socio-emotional development and academic success, support students with specific needs, and carry out research and development activities in the field of Psychology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Find out what else this project has to offer educational programme aimed at contributing to the development of socio-emotional skills, self-awareness techniques, and the definition of your academic path and goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ubuntu techniques will help you discover a new understanding of your sense and purpose in life\u2014key elements for a successful academic journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Talking with&#8230;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>These sessions invite the academic community to reflect on and discuss mental health topics and various transversal skills considered important for students\u2019 journeys within the institution, their personal development, integration, and reducing dropout rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned for our schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Mental Health Seminars<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It is through these seminars that the Student Support Center promotes mental health literacy among the student community of the Polytechnic University of Leiria. During these events, the Center not only presents its services to all first-year undergraduate classes, but also makes itself available to discuss topics chosen by the students.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-container-19 wp-block-column\">\n<h3>Buddy International<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This programme aims to support international students in their first contact with the country, the city and the institution. The Buddy International is a valuable help for students when they first arrive in an unfamiliar country.
