Bio
Beatriz Anjos, from Torres Vedras, is 21 years old. She is currently studying Sound and Image at Escola Superior de Artes e Design, in Caldas da Rainha. Over the course of three years of her degree, she based her work on memory, the space that surrounds it, and the speculation that it can bring. The truth or a lie. Thus, through plastic and audiovisual means, it is possible to rethink and explore its materiality and ephemerality.

The Digger
Mateus Verde
Summary
The night is dark, a man walks through the woods carrying his hoe. Arriving at a, perhaps, previously designated spot, he wields the tool and digs diligently. The pit grows and deepens with each of the strikes. Once his labor is done, the digger enters the pit he has opened, crossing into an incomprehensible underground world. From the inscrutable emerges a bright glimmering light that overpowers the darkness, revealing, perhaps, a new portal.
