Catarina Leitão

OPEN CLASS
OCTOBER 21TH OF 2025, 11AM
ROOM 26 OF EP.2 – ESAD.CR

Catarina Leitão, artist and professor at the College of Arts of the University of Coimbra, will give an open lecture on her work. Her work is structured around drawing, sculpture, installation, and book. Processes of construction, adaptability, and hybridity integrate a practice through which Catarina proposes the idea that human and nature, artifice and nature, culture and nature exist in continuity. Between the twodimensional and the three-dimensional, the artificial and the natural, assembly and disassembly, her spatial vision sustains a language of sculpture using installation and drawing.
