OPEN CALL
ESAD.CR

The Dagorda Artistic Residency – Cadaval is aimed for undergraduate or master’s students in Fine Arts who attend ESAD.CR during the 2025/2026 academic year. This residency aims to promote a close relationship with the village’s territory and community. Applications may be individual, in pairs or in trios.

Applications in pairs or trios must involve a joint project carried out in collaboration. Three students will be selected to take part in the Dagorda – Cadaval Artistic Residency for a period of three weeks, between 19 January and 8 February 2026, at Casa com Arte, in the village of Dagorda, Cadaval. During the residency, there will be two mandatory mediation sessions with the community – one with the Cadaval Secondary School and the other with the Dagorda Day Centre – Asavida, designed and led by the selected students. This project is part of the Culture and Education Biennial #2, of the National Arts Plan, on the theme ‘And instead of fear?’, curated by Marta Bernardes.
