GESTURE OF VOID: BODIES OF WIND

“gesture of void” is a duology composed by the installation “bodies of water” and the installation/performance “bodies of wind”, that thinks of the human being as a hybrid set of materials, and thus, be able to say that we were never (only) human.

After presenting the first part of this duology at Ágora in Leiria, Carincur now presents “gesture of void: bodies of wind” at CUBÍCULO, at ESAD in Caldas da Rainha. A piece that explores the visible and invisible patterns of wind, establishing a dialogue between space, body and voice.

Before the performance Carincur will present a masterclass, directed to the whole school community, about her creative and artistic process.

Carincur is a transdisciplinary artist who develops work in hybrid formats between performance, electronic and experimental music, audiovisual installations, among others. At ESAD.CR, before the performance, she will present a masterclasse, directed to the whole school community, about her creative and artistic process.

CUBÍCULO is a permanent programming space at ESAD.CR and a project of the Unesco Chair in Arts and Culture Management, Cities and Creativity.
