Within the scope of the curriculum of the third year of the Degree in Programming and Cultural Production at ESAD-CR, the exercise of the Curricular Unit of Contemporary Artistic Practices will culminate in a session that will take place at the Antiga Escola do Parque, adjacent to Parque D. Carlos I , of which it is contemporary, built in 1898. The meeting will be hosted by third-year undergraduate students and guests will be a notable group of artists who graduated from ESAD-CR and who star in the exhibition “The True Side of the Blanket”, currently on display at the Vila Flor Cultural Center, in Guimarães , including Filipe Feijão, Antónia Labaredas, Vasco Costa, Sara Costa Carvalho and Rubene Palma Ramos. The session will take place on January 18, between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm, in the wing formerly dedicated to the school’s female students. The participants will gather around the notion of collective creation and the construction of artistic communities, in a place, Caldas da Rainha, deeply marked by the presence of the School and the way in which it shapes and is shaped by historical, social dynamics. and economic conditions of the territory in which it operates.
