An immigrant mother, hurting from a backache, calls for her son to help carry her groceries home. Along their way, they talk about the future through the past, revisiting all of their hardships and hopes.

Born in the year 2000, the director is the son to a Cape-Verdean mother and a Guinean father, having lived and grown up around the neighborhoods surrounding Lisbon. He’s a new bachelor from the Lisbon’s Film & Theatre School, directing field.
