Open class with multidisciplinary artist Ana Teresa Antunes, former student of ESAD.CR, focused on her practice and artistic paths.

Born in the 1970s, she grew up in her Alfacinha family, the granddaughter of a tailor and seamstress. With a degree in Fine Arts from ESTGAD and IADE, she completed a postgraduate degree in Illustration and Comics. She also completed the Cutting, Sewing and Patternmaking course at a typical ‘old-school’ Modista school in Lisbon. She was responsible for creating the costumes for the Marcha da Baixa that paraded in the Popular Marches of Lisbon in 2009/2010. In 2010 she became academic coordinator of the Academy’s workshops and in recent years she has dedicated herself to artistic projects and shirtmaking, having developed the promotion of creative sewing workshops.
