ENGRAVING IN MUSEUMS. WHERE ART IS, by Estela Baptista Costa
The Education and Mediation Service is transversal to all Museum’s programming activity and fundamental in the education of the public. Stimulating and facilitating the interpretation of art collections and appealing to the creativity and participation of children and young people has been the practice of Estela Baptista Costa, a visual artist graduated from ESAD, in the multiple educational projects that she has been developing in museums and schools, about which she will come to talk, as the “Gravurinha Box” projet.

BENAVENTE MUSEUM. EDUCATION IN A TERRITORY MUSEUM, by Raquel S. Pereira
At the Benavente Agricultural Museum Center, the educational program aims to “think and feel the Museum as an aggregating, multicultural space, of active participation and with a transformative capacity”. It is around some of the spaces and projects of this Museum, based on artistic and plastic expression for children and families and the relationship with the local community, that Raquel S. Pereira develops her cultural mediation work at the Municipal Benavente Museum. For more than 20 years she developed artistic activities for children in schools and other institutions. It is about these themes and the work in artistic education that she comes to talk.
