As part of the open class schedule with former students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts, we invited João Pombeiro, a multidisciplinary artist and teacher at ESAD.CR, who will talk about his professional experience after the course, about his creative processes.

João Pombeiro (Leiria, 1979) is a visual artist working in several fields as graphic design, ilustration, animation, directing and humor. BA in Visual Arts by ESAD.CR, Pombeiro has dedicated himself to movies and videoclips, made with collages and animation. Some of his projects won prizes in international festivals or were named in publications as Vimeo Staff Picks, Behance, Vice Creators, Boooooom and Colossal. Pombeiro has collaborated with diverse institutions, brands and artists as Creative Commons, Antena 3, Warp Records, Universal Music, Island Records, Luísa Sobral, Nadia Schilling, Surma, The Legendary Tigerman, Ana Bacalhau, Cave Story, Xutos & Pontapés, Nightmares on Wax, Lance Skywalker and U2.
