OPENING: JUNE 5TH, 5PM
GALERIA NOVA OGIVA – ÓBIDOS
Anti-Corpus’ exhibition in Óbidos for a month
From 5 June to 6 July, Galeria Nova Ogiva in Óbidos is hosting the exhibition ‘Anti-Corpus’, which presents the works of the finalists of the 2025 Fine Arts Degree at the Caldas da Rainha School of Arts and Design (ESAD.CR – IPLeiria).
This exhibition brings together 49 works that cover the multiple territories of contemporary creation – from painting to sculpture, installation to embroidery, drawing to video – reflecting the diversity, boldness and artistic vitality of a new generation of creators.
‘Anti-Corpus’ marks the moment when the artistic object leaves the protected space of the studio and exposes itself, for the first time, to the intensity of the public gaze. In this direct confrontation with viewers, each piece reveals its ideas, forms, materials and concerns – in a plurality that is at once inaugural, courageous and profoundly noisy.
Collectively curated and organised by ESAD.CR, this exhibition is part of Óbidos’ cultural programme and invites the public to experience art in its raw and vibrant state, in the unique space of Galeria Nova Ogiva.
The opening takes place on 5 June at 5pm, with free admission.
