ELO Workshops
(OD + OGS)
Workshop ELO is a training programme that promotes the sharing of practical knowledge in the fields of publishing, printing, and graphic production, bringing together four complementary workshops organised by the Digital Workshop and the Printmaking and Screen Printing Workshop. Throughout several sessions, participants will have the opportunity to explore the techniques of Screen Printing (from Digital Image to Print), Manual Bookbinding, Risography, and Textile Printing Processes, developing creative approaches and acquiring fundamental skills for the autonomous development of projects in graphic and editorial production.

SCREEN PRINTING
APRIL 17TH OF 2026, 2PM – 5PM
PRINTMAKING AND SILKSCREEN WORKSHOP (ROOM 3 OF EP1)
This workshop offers a practical introduction to the fundamentals of screen printing. Throughout the session, participants will become familiar with the essential materials, tools, and processes involved in the technique, from preparing the digital image to carrying out the manual printing process. Through an experimental and guided approach, each participant will have the opportunity to produce a final print on paper or fabric, exploring the creative possibilities of screen printing and acquiring basic knowledge to develop future projects independently.

HAND BOOKBINDING TECHNIQUES
APRIL 24TH OF 2026, 2PM – 5PM
DIGITAL WORKSHOP (ROOM 46 OF EP1)
In this practical workshop, participants will explore different manual bookbinding techniques, including metal rings (spiral and double wire), plastic rings, hot glue binding, thesis-style binding, and hand-sewn binding with thread. Throughout the session, materials, tools, and applications will be presented, encouraging the creation of personalised notebooks and the reuse of paper leftovers.

RISOGRAPHY

DIGITAL WORKSHOP (ROOM 46 OF EP1)
The Introduction to Risography workshop aims to provide participants with the basic knowledge of digital printing techniques using risography. Techniques for composition and preparation of digital files will be taught, along with the necessary guidance for the appropriate selection of papers and available formats. The workshop will conclude with a short composition exercise in which participants will be able to explore the potential of combining different digital printing techniques

TEXTILE PRINTING PROCESSES

DIGITAL WORKSHOP (ROOM 46 OF EP1)
O workshop de estampagem têxtil propõe-se munir os participantes dos conhecimentos básicos do processo de Estampagem desde a criação de ficheiros ao produto final. Serão ensinadas técnicas de preparação de ficheiros digitais, assim como será feita uma introdução dos materiais, equipamentos e aplicações possíveis. O workshop finalizará com um exercício prático todo o processo de uma estampagem usando o vinil VIDEOFLEX.
