Post-Production Seminar for the Final Project

External guests—professionals from the audiovisual sector—will support the final projects of the Bachelor’s degree in Sound and Image. This support is considered essential for integrating the projects into a professional context, enhancing their production phase and preparing them for festivals and other curated showcases. The projects will be evaluated in terms of editing, color correction, and sound postproduction and mixing techniques. This support is provided by the context of ICA 2025 funding.


Rita M. Pestana

Rita M. Pestana (Lisbon, 1987) is a film editor and director. She graduated in Film from ESTC (2009) and began working in 2006. She has collaborated on several notable films in Brazil and Portugal, including Baronesa (editing award) and Paloma. She has worked as an assistant director and editor, participated in Berlinale Talents (2018), and taught film. She is currently editing Pedro Pinho’s latest film and finalizing her first fiction short film.


Hugo Leitão

Hugo Leitão is one of the most recognized sound mixers in Portugal. Notable works include Vitalina Varela (2019), Horse Money (2014), and When There Are No More Waves (2022).


Gonçalo Ferreira

Gonçalo Ferreira is a colorist specializing in color grading for film, television, and advertising. With a refined eye for visual aesthetics and chromatic storytelling, he has collaborated with various directors and studios on national and international projects. His work stands out for its sensitivity to atmosphere and rhythm, translating emotion through color.
