Exhibition by the artists-in-residence at Dagorda – Cadaval

Filipa Emanuz, Lara Domingos, Mara Lisboa and Luana Pereira

EXHIBITION
FROM MAY 15TH TO JUNE 02ND OF 2026
OPENING: MAY 15TH – 6PM
PUBLIC LIBRARY OF CADAVAL

The sea flows through her, washing away the scars, pointing the way, presents a collection of works resulting from the Artist-in-Residence program in Dagorda-Cadaval, held between January and February 2026, by students in the Master’s program in Fine Arts: Lara Domingos, Luana Pereira, Filipa Emauz, and Mara Lisboa. The artist residency at Casa com Arte was a project integrated into the Culture and Education Biennial #2, part of the National Arts Plan, involving Cadaval Secondary School and the Asavida Day Center in Dagorda.

The multidisciplinary exhibition is the result of weeks spent experiencing the place, its tangible and intangible heritage. Living with the landscape and the beings that inhabit it, the artists explore the territory’s natural, digital, metaphysical, and affective biomes.

This moment allows to give back to the territory what was born from it, fostering sharing between the artists and the local community.
