Talk about design – Design for mobility

A conversation with designer Nicholas Taylor about his career path in the exploration of alternative materials for sustainable urban transport, highlighting in this scope:  
– The research project on the use of wood and its derivatives in bicycle construction, including prototype production, evaluation and long-term testing; 
– The “Project Recycle” – reuse and re-qualification of used bicycles for use in an academic context;
– The “Xylonbikes”, “Corkers” and “Trolitrekker” brands; 
– The development of wooden electro-assisted vehicles.
