Inclusive Board Games – with Renato Bispo

In this workshop, based on inclusive design, students will be invited to reflect on inclusive board games as objects that can stimulate cognitive development and socialization among children with and without visual impairment. All game elements will be approached in such a way that if a blind child is playing with a sighted child, neither has a (dis)advantage over the other. This premise will guide the development of pieces, boards and/or other elements that replace with the same fluidity the traditional options of white piece and black piece.
