Tile decoration stages include pattern drawing, drilling, drawing (contouring), painting, glazing and firing. This workshop aims to create traditional Turkish \u00e7ini tiles inspired by the traditional and biophilic patterns, enabling students to create products. During a 4-hour session, Prof Canan Salman will guide the participants through the process of creating graphic designs on ceramic surfaces according to the traditional principles and techniques of Turkish tiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Canan Salman<\/strong> is a Turkish ceramist, currently working on a PhD program at Eskisehir Osmangazi University, on the subject of &#8220;Expression of Biophilic Design and Sustainability on Ceramic Forms and Surfaces Through The Seed Image&#8221;. At ESAD.CR, as a visiting researcher, the scope is more circumscribed, and is entitled &#8220;Sustainable Ceramic Art Works For Interior With Biophilic Design Principles From Seed Form&#8221;. Supported by T\u00fcbitak (The Scientific And Technological Research Council of Turkey) 2214-A International Research Fellowship Programme for PhD Students.
