Programme \u2013 CCC and SILOS, Caldas da Rainha<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

“Impulso Returns on September 27 for the 2nd Part of Season Impulso 2024<\/strong>“<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Impulso returns on September 27 for the second part of Season Impulso 2024<\/strong>, an annual program taking place at the Centro Cultural e de Congressos das Caldas da Rainha<\/strong>, highlighting the vibrant and alternative talent in both national and international music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Impulso will present 12 new shows until December, completing the 30 artists proposed for 2024. This includes familiar returns and reunions, new trends, emerging artists, and exclusive performances that will offer unique experiences to the public of Caldas da Rainha. Special attention is given to the partnership with the Caldas Film Fest<\/strong>, a new film and cultural festival running from September 26 to 28, which will bring many new features and activities to the city in this cultural season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first night of programming kicks off on September 27  with the debut of m\u00f8n\u00e7\u00e4o<\/strong>, a new supergroup formed by Surma<\/strong>, Tiago Bettencourt<\/strong>, and TOMARA<\/strong>, which was created in 2019 at Impulso\u2019s invitation. This residency produced over 1000 minutes of music and one of the most acclaimed shows of that edition. They now return for another artistic residency at CCC and a unique audiovisual presentation, which, according to them, is \u201ca first spark of what is to come.\u201d The night continues at BOX@SILOS Contentor Criativo\u2014alongside the Caldas Film Fest\u2014with electronic pop duo Girls 96 <\/strong>and BALEIA BALEIA BALEIA<\/strong>, one of the most incisive and interesting bands in the national punk rock scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The season continues on October 18 with performances by Brazilian musician Rod Krieger,<\/strong> Adolfo Lux\u00faria Canibal\u2019s project ESTILHA\u00c7OS<\/strong>, and the debut of Broken Fingers<\/strong>, a finger drumming live act in another bold experience in the Impulso laboratory, promising a night of celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On November 23, another very special moment occurs, this time at Silos Contentor Criativo. The show \u201cLeida<\/strong>\u201d by Mariana Dion\u00edsio<\/strong> will feature a site-specific presentation where the interaction between space and the voices of 8 artists promises to create one of the most vibrant moments of the 2024 program. The night also includes a journey between Cape Verde and the Amazon with Arapucagongon<\/strong> by Henrique Silva and Jhon Douglas and concludes with the energy and vitality of Latin urban music in Lian:e<\/strong>\u00b4s Set<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In December, the final month of the year and of Season Impulso 2024, we will see the debut of Carolina Miragaia<\/strong>, who will bring her upcoming album blending experimental pop melodies with electronic drive. There will also be space for one of world music\u2019s new promises, the Mexican artist Fuensanta<\/strong>, and the return of the revamped Mem\u00f3ria de Peixe<\/strong>, with a new album to be released this year and an audiovisual show with several guests and surprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first part of the Impulso 2024 season already featured several national and international names such as The Legendary Tigerman, Filipe Sambado, Hatis Noit, emmy Curl, Bia Ferreira, Pr\u00e9tu, and Criatura<\/strong>, among many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Impulso 2024 is organized by Pulsonar Associa\u00e7\u00e3o in co-organization with the Municipality of Caldas da Rainha and in partnership with CCC and ESAD.CR (Higher School of Arts and Design of Caldas da Rainha, Polytechnic Institute of Leiria).
