The exhibition brings together the works of the final-year students of the Master’s in Fine Arts for the academic year 2024-25 with the works of the scholarship students. It’s a moment to reflect on and celebrate the handover from Lu\u00edsa Soares de Oliveira, coordinator of the Master’s program between 2014 and 2025, to Ana Jo\u00e3o Romana. This exhibition brings together several generations who have received grants from our partners: Rama and Torres Vedras City Council, Pr\u00e9mio Arte Jovem \u2013 Millenium BCP, Oficina Bartolomeu Cid dos Santos, LIDA – ESAD.CR’s Art and Design Research Laboratory and students who have received grants from the European Community to do internships in international artists’ studios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safra is a multidisciplinary space located in Lisbon that will host a site-specific look from the young artists. In addition to the exhibition, there will be a parallel program of talks between the master’s teachers and the various generations of students, as well as a program of performances.
On the occasion of the exhibition, a catalog of the artists’ works and texts by the teachers who have been guiding the various generations of master’s students since 2014 will be launched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between seeds and stars \u2013 conversation about practices and paths<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the exhibition of finalists and scholarship holders from the Master’s in Fine Arts at ESAD.CR, we held a conversation between teachers, alumni, finalists, and institutional partners. We propose to open a space for sharing and reflection on emerging artistic practices, paths that are drawn from the school, and possible connections between creation, research, and community.
Through different testimonies and perspectives, the conversation seeks to question how artistic trajectories are constructed in a challenging contemporary context, what modes of support and collaboration can sustain the work of artists, and how the school extends itself as a living network of relationships and experiences.
This conversation is a sharing of intergenerational dialogue and mutual recognition, celebrating the vitality and diversity of artistic practice at ESAD.CR. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
