Plano Nacional das Artes \u201cFor everyone with each one\u201d <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Plano Nacional das Artes (PNA) is a mission structure of the \nPortuguese governmental areas of Culture and Education within the time \nframe of 2019-2020. Its mission is to promote social transformation, \nharnessing the educative potential of heritage and the arts in each \ncitizen\u2019s life: for everyone with each one. Partnerships with local \nadministration, private entities and civil society are purposefully \ninvolved in order to place heritage and the arts at the centre of \nlifelong learning. Plano Nacional das Artes\u2019 manifesto and strategy for \nthe time frame of 2019-2024 were publicly presented on the 18th of June \nof 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its main goals are to ensure citizen\u2019s access and \nparticipation in artistic fruition and cultural production; to expand \nthe cultural educative supply and to promote knowledge, integration and \nthe meeting of cultures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

PNA is part of a broader strategy aimed \nat creating integrated culture and education policies, bringing closer \ncitizens and the arts, especially children and the youth, promoting \ncultural heritage and stimulating the circulation of contemporary \ncreation. The action strategy upholds a systemic approach to society, \nlocally grounded, acknowledging each territory\u2019s uniqueness and \nempowering communities and local agents through active and constructive \nparticipation. Divided in 3 axis of intervention \u2013 Cultural Policy; \nQualification; Education and Access \u2013 which include 6 programs and 27 \ninitiatives, complementing and enhancing each other. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plano \nNacional das Artes is being developed, in articulation and leveraging \ntheir cooperative action, with the Plano Nacional de Leitura, the Plano \nNacional de Cinema, the Programa Nacional de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Est\u00e9tica e \nArt\u00edstica, the Programa de Rede de Bibliotecas Escolares and the Rede \nPortuguesa de Museus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is coordinated through an executive \ncommission composed by Paulo Pires do Vale, Sara Brighentti and Nuno \nP\u00f3lvora and accompanied by a cientific commission presided by Maria de \nAssis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
