Academic year 2021/2022

Mars 4th of 2022

Considering the changes resulting from the Resolution of the Council of Ministers nbr. 25-A/2022, other legislation in force and the Order nbr. 36/2022 of the President of the Polytechnic of Leiria, we inform you of the main changes made to the Covid-19 procedures of our school. Thus, for the beginning of the 2nd semester of 2021/2022:

  • There are no longer specific doors for entry and exit in buildings;
  • The signs alluding to Covid-19 measures will be progressively removed, with the exception of the use of a mask, which remains mandatory inside buildings (Decree-Law No. 10-A/2020, in its latest version – article 13- B), and the disinfection of hands and cleaning of surfaces and equipment, which is recommended;
  • Study rooms, in Buildings A and D, will be reopened for use by Students, on a free basis and respecting the capacity posted at the entrance;
  • Resumption of the usual access control procedure, i.e., application of Order No. 76/2013 on Access to Laboratory Spaces;
  • Resumption of face-to-face teaching service hours.

In cases where Students test positive for Covid-19, they must report the COVID-19 disease situation to covid-19.estg@ipleiria.pt, with carbon copy (CC) to the Degree Coordinator.

In these cases, Students may present a justification of absence and/or a request to reschedule the evaluation moment. Thus, they must, within a maximum period of 5 days after the end of the impediment, send, through their institutional email address, an email to academicos@ipleiria.pt, with CC to the Degree Coordinator, referring the following data:

  • Full name,
  • Student number,
  • Reason and duration of absence (Prophylactic Isolation),
  • Classes/assessments in question (designation of the curricular unit and date when he/she was absent or will be absent),
  • Supporting document (e.g., Provisional Insulation Declaration/Test Result).

If additional clarifications are required or in the event that there is the need to update the information initially sent, the address covid-19.estg@ipleiria.pt should be used.
