Ana Margarida Matos will talk about Hoje Não (Not today), a diary created during six months of 2021, during one of the confinements related to Covid 19 in Portugal. In 2021, this title was the winning project of the “Toma lá 500 paus e faz uma BD” contest, by Chili Com Carne. Under the pretext of this publication, the author will talk about other solo or collective publications, such as “Kûshburger” (editoras Kûs, Letónia + Stripburger, Eslovénia) or “Querosene” (Chili com Carne), and her artistic practice, as well as her responsability in the organization of Feira Autónoma at Almada.
Ana Margarida Matos (born 1999), studied Graphic Design at School António Arroio and has a BA in Painting, Fine Arts Faculty – University in Lisbon. In 2019 Matos published her first zine “Passe Social” with Erva Daninha; in 2021 she won the prize “Toma lá 500 Paus e Faz uma BD”, promoted by Chili Com Carne with the book “Hoje não” (Not today).
