The 2nd year class of the Master’s in Product Design critically analyses the reference projects for their research through an innovative debate format: the Design Trial. Originally conceived by Abitare magazine, the Design Trial has only taken place twice during the Salone del Mobile in Milan, in 2009 and 2010. The Master’s in Product Design has been using the format since 2015 as a privileged vehicle for public discussion of the projects that serve as references for the students’ theses. This year, as always, projects by some of the world’s most talented designers will be presented and assessed.
