José Mendes is a recognised and award winning independent graphic designer with a remarkable career in visual communication design. He describes his work as visually eclectic, idea driven, based on typography, relationships between forms and visual narratives. He has developed visual interfaces for a variety of clients, from the packaging of MissLava Music to the branding and identity of the airline SATA. He was co-founder and former designer of MAGA Atelier, and was also a designer at BBDO Portugal, NovoDesign, Brandia, Mola Ativism and Ivity Brand Corp.
