CORREDOR NEXT TO AUDIOVISUAL WORKSHOP, EP1 – ESAD.CR

Jammin COMIC JAM is for creative comic book lovers. It brought together students from ESAD.CR and 2 guest authors in the same space to do what creative people do best, produce while exchanging ideas: a comic board each, while benefiting from opinions and know-how. A theme was given and each person produced freely for 6 hours. It resulted in a publication and an exhibition held in August 2023 at the Hospital e das Caldas Museum (as part of the ESMAGA event), which is now repeated at ESAD.CR. The publication “Sai do Armário”, in digital version and in limited printed edition, brings together the production carried out during the event: the works of participating students, guests Ana Margarida Matos and Rita Alfaiate, as well as a visual essay by Teresa Amaral, a essay written by Pedro Vieira deassumes a strong international commitment.
