AULA ABERTA
10 DE MAIO, 11H
SALA 21 EP.2
I will present my latest book “My Name is AI – Conversations with Artificial Intelligence” and share insights about the creative process behind it, including how I took conversation with AI, and how AI was used to generate the illustrations. I will also explore the growing applications of AI in the creative industries. Additionally, I want to delve into some of the profound philosophical and ethical questions that the rise of AI is raising – what is the nature of intelligence and consciousness, and what are the implications as machines approach or even surpass human-level abilities in certain domains?
Finally, I hope to inspire the students about the immense positive potential of AI in art to help solve major challenges facing humanity, while also considering the risks and how we can develop AI responsibly to benefit everyone. It should be an engaging lecture spanning computer science, philosophy, ethics, the creative arts, and the future of technology and society.
