CALDAS LATE NIGHT #27

The artistic residency of the students of Social Artistic Practices in Silos – Contentor Criativo ends with an exhibition and a performance during Caldas Late Night #27. The works were based on the research of the tangible and intangible heritage of the place linked to industrial archaeology, the construction of the collaborative and activist work and the legacy left by colleagues from the previous year. We bring the School to the city, a principle that has always guided Silos – Contentor Criativo.

SILOS – CREATIVE CONTAINER . CALDAS DA RAINHA

The artistic residency of Social Artistic Practices students at Silos – Creative Container is divided into three moments: one of research based on the material and immaterial heritage of the place linked to industrial archeology, followed by a moment of fieldwork, exploring various construction aspects of the collaborative work, with the possibility of including participatory and/or activist methodologies, still to be defined by the group of students. The last moment will be to share the processes, objects and conclusions of the residency period, in a site-specific, site-determined, site-oriented, site-referenced, site-conscious, site-responsive, site related exhibition (concepts by Miwon Kwon, in One place after another, site-specific art and locational identity, 2002)
