Manufacture and collection of 3D printed visor supports

The Polytechnic of Leiria is collaborating with several Health Units and companies in order to support the construction and delivery of visors for the individual protection of health professionals.

ESAD.CR printers are being used at the service of the local hospital and institutions for the elderly.

The 3D printers in the Laboratories and Research Units of the Polytechnic of Leiria are already producing the plastic parts for the head restraints in direct articulation with companies in the region that provide transparent visors and fixation tapes on the head.
