Tomasz Walenta is an editorial illustrator, a graphic designer, a researcher and an educator living in Warsaw, Poland.

His clients include The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, TIME Magazine, The New York Times, Fortune Magazine, Scholastic, Politico, The Boston Globe, Foreign Policy, Consumer Reports, Newsweek, Forbes, Reader’s Digest and Nautilus.

In recent years, Walenta has had the opportunity to teach in Canada and Europe. He was a lecturer at Laval University in Quebec city, at the Université du Québec à Montréal and at the Université de l’Outaouais. Since 2017, Walenta has been an assistant professor at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw at the Department of Graphic Design.

Walenta posters can be found in the permanent collection of the National Museum of Fine Arts of Quebec and the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg. Since 1998, Walenta participates in the Warsaw and Mexico poster Biennials. His posters are part of many exhibition catalogs and several poster books.
