Sports Season – 2025/2026
Ready to get active? Registrations are now open for sports activities at the Polytechnic University of Leiria for the 2025/2026 season!
Through the Social Services, our institution offers a wide range of sports and fitness opportunities — both competitive and recreational — designed to promote academic spirit, teamwork, and overall well-being.
You can join sports such as Handball, Athletics, Basketball, Futsal, Roller Hockey, Tripela, and Volleyball, all free of charge. These activities include regular training sessions led by professional coaches.

There’s also support for participation in many other sports, including Beach Handball, Badminton, Bodyboard, Mountain Biking, Canoeing, Duathlon, Climbing, Horse Riding, Beach Soccer, Footvolley, 7-a-side Football, Judo, Karate, Karting, Kickboxing, Swimming, Orienteering, Padel, Modern Pentathlon, Snowboard, Surf, Taekwondo, Tennis, Table Tennis, Trail Running, Triathlon, Chess, and more!

Required documents:
- Copy of your ID card details;
- Passport-style photo (digital);
- Proof of enrolment at the Polytechnic University of Leiria for 2025/2026 (enrolment certificate or tuition fee receipt).
