Opportunities
The Polytechnic University of Leiria (IPLeiria) ensures that all open calls for research grants are published transparently and in accordance with the law.
Research fellowship opportunities are published in full compliance with Portuguese legislation, namely the Research Fellowship Statute (Law No. 40/2004) and subsequent amendments, the FCT Research Fellowship Regulations (Regulation No. 950/2019, updated and republished in Notice No. 412/2026/2), and the Regulations on Scientific Research Grants of the Polytechnic University of Leiria (Regulation No. 152/2021 and subsequent amendments).
The Polytechnic University of Leiria (IPLeiria) has consistently demonstrated excellence in research and innovation. In the latest national assessment of R&D performance carried out by the FCT, IPLeiria’s Research Units (RUs) achieved exceptional results, with eight of its fifteen RUs rated as ‘Excellent’ and five as ‘Very Good’, reflecting the excellence, dedication and commitment of its research teams.
The open calls for research fellowships have now transitioned to a new institutional recruitment platform, where all institutional calls are currently being published.
While the English version is under development, all open research opportunities can be consulted on EURAXESS:
