Cisco Academy

Politécnico de Leiria was the first Cisco Academy being affiliated in Portugal, back in 2001. Cisco Networking Academy is a global IT and cybersecurity education programme that partners with learning institutions around the world to empower all people with essential technology skills.

It currently offers the following courses: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching, Health Information Networking, CCNA Security, and Cisco Certified Network Professional.

Siemens Automation Academy

Founded in 2014, Siemens Automation Academy provides training courses for all levels on all Siemens PLC systems. It is located in the Laboratório de Automação Paulo Gata and is equipped with top-quality technological solutions.

This academy aims to promote entrepreneurship and technology skills amongst engineering students and increase the number of engineering students in the Portuguese higher education landscape.

Mechanical Engineering skills

PLM Academy

Siemens Product Lifecycle Management Academy was created to provide mechanical and industrial engineering students with better workshops and resources for enhancing the region of Leiria’s industrial sector.

Founded in 2014, it employs 24 people and uses Siemens SolidEdge, NX, Tecnomatix e Teamcenter software.
