The strategic plan is an essential management tool that gives cohesion and direction to the activities developed by institutions. It characterises the context in which an organisation is embedded and clearly indicates what actions should be taken to achieve its objectives. In this managerial instrument, we set goals, priorities, ambitions, and the route to achieve them. As the driving force of any strategy execution, it directs the efforts of everyone towards a common objective. The strategic plan provides not only the institution but also its stakeholders and society, with a clear and contextualised image of who they are, what they do, their mission and what they plan to achieve.
