NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo

The Polytechnic University of Leiria will participate in the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo, the world’s largest and most dynamic international education event, held from May 27 to 30 in San Diego, California.
Organised by the Association of International Educators (NAFSA), this 77th edition brings together professionals from all areas of international education around the theme “Purpose, Place, and Partnership.”

Portugal will be represented through the national pavilion “Study & Research in Portugal,” a joint initiative of the Portuguese National Agency Erasmus+ Education and Training, Fulbright Portugal, and FLAD – Luso-American Development Foundation. This coordinated effort is part of the broader USA–Portugal Campus initiative. The Polytechnic University of Leiria is proud to be part of the Portugal Pavilion, standing alongside other national institutions to showcase the diversity, innovation, and international partnerships that define higher education in Portugal.

NAFSA 2025 is expected to welcome thousands of participants from over 100 countries, including representatives of universities, agencies, service providers, and government organisations involved in international education and mobility. The Expo will host dozens of national consortia and hundreds of exhibitors, offering a unique platform to build global partnerships and promote academic cooperation. We look forward to connecting with peers from around the world and reinforcing our commitment to internationalisation, collaboration, and global learning.
