We have seven student halls of residence, one school hotel, and one student and staff lodge. They’re spread across the cities of Leiria, Caldas da Rainha, and Peniche.
In total, our accommodation services have 763 beds. Most of them are intended for national students, so we suggest international students search for private accommodation options.
Facilities and Services
In our student accommodation, there are single and double bedrooms, with private or shared bathrooms. Bedrooms are furnished with a single bed, bedside table, closet, bookshelf, desk and chair.
Our school hotel has double bedrooms with private bathrooms. They are equipped with single beds, bedside table, closet and chair.

If this is the first time you’re applying for accommodation, first you need to register to obtain permission to apply. Only after registration, you’ll be able to apply.

You’ll receive an email from Politécnico de Leiria’s Social Services about the results of your application.

The four residences based in Leiria are within 5 minutes walking distance of everything you need: supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, Campus 1 canteen. They’re also very close to Campus 2 canteens, which have take-away service.

Accommmodation Payment

| Students with scholarship | Within the first five business days after you’ve received the monthly scholarship payment. |
| All other students | Until day 10 of the month. If day 10 is not a business day, you can pay in the next business day. |
Students with scholarships get €76.79 as a supplement for accommodation. This amount corresponds to the price of a double bedroom per month.
If you fail to pay the monthly payment, you may lose your accommodation.
