To ensure the well-being of our academic community, Politécnico de Leiria offers low-cost medical consultations to our students, teachers, researchers, and staff.
The Politécnico de Leiria’s Health Services are equipped with the latest technology and our health professionals are specialists in their fields.
Book a medical consultation
Medical consultations for General Practice, Sports Medicine (exclusively for IPLeiria students), Gynaecology/Obstetrics and Family Planning must be scheduled via the platform of our Social Action Services.

You must bring the following documentation to the appointment:
- ID card or equivalent (passport, VAT, proof of National Insurance Number, National Health Service card);
- Private health insurance card (if you have one).

General Practice, Sports Medicine, Gynaecology/Obstetrics and Family Planning consultations may take place in Leiria, Caldas da Rainha, and Peniche.
Psychology and Nutrition consultations are held at Campus 5, Leiria.
