In 2015, I pursued the Master of Product Design Engineering at ESTG in Politécnico de Leiria, which I finished in May of 2018.
Portugal has been such a wonderful experience for my learning. The diverse culture and friendly people made it a more exciting experience. I chose Politécnico de Leiria since it’s the best institute regarding practical learning and engineering. It’s more intense and, at the end of the day, you are aware of what you’re doing, which is really importante. The professors at ESTG have high teaching standards and are open to help students forward. The cuisine in Portugal has intrigued me and the architecture present in museums and churches made me think twice about the talented people that built such infrastructures centuries ago.
At the moment, I’m working as a Design Engineer for a company that makes compoents of heavy duty machines and earth movers. The work exposure here is both great and challenging at the same time. Even small details are engineered.
To narrow down the area of interest in my carrer, the master’s program was a stepping stone. The two years passed so fast with many memories. I thank each and every person who contributed to my Master’s program and wish the best to the management team and international networks for doing such a great job.
