Objectives

Programme

This course aims to train graduates by exposing them to knowledge and skills in the biological, physical, social and behavioral sciences that support Occupational Therapy, making them able to:

  • ­ Establish an intervention program, based on appropriate techniques and methods of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation (identifying changes in areas of the field of occupational therapy that interfere or enable the involvement and participation in meaningful occupations), to obtain the informed participation of the subjects in the process of prevention, rehabilitation and social reintegration, using meaningful activities selected, structured and adapted to the pre­defined goals, taking into account the psychosocial, economic, cultural and environmental contexts;
  • ­ Manage human and material resources by promoting a culture of responsibility and teamwork in order of quality of service ;
  • Develop and participate in research projects with the goal of the development of the profession and health in general, acting legally and ethically.
