Student Welcome Guide
We are delighted that you have chosen to study at the Polytechnic University of Leiria.

Enrolment and Registration
At Politécnico de Leiria, enrolment and registration processes are all done online, via the Student Portal. When you’ve officially enrolled, you will be able to obtain a proof of enrolment in the Student Portal. This will be necessary to hand over to other entities.
In this platform, you can also check your timetable, make payments, access a wide range of study programme resources, information, and activities, as well as access support.
At this point, you’ll be required to create a student card. This document is sometimes required to access some of our buildings and services.

Learning Platform and Resources
You’ll get a student email account and access to free Wi-Fi across all campi. Our IT Services will be able to help you setting up your student email account. You’ll find all your curricular units at our students’ online workspace Moodle. But during your first week you’ll discover so much more than learning. Our halls of residence, canteens, cafeterias, and all other facilities will be ready to give you a warm welcome.

Individual and social life guidance – We can help you integrate and adapt to this new reality. We understand starting university life can also be stressful and anxious.
Psychological services – If you’re interested in workshop sessions in communication, emotional intelligence, conflict and stress management, time and study management, job searching techniques, building your CV, request one of our free psychological services.
Career guidance – This is an individual service that helps students overcome the difficulties related to academic success and career development and reflect on their career options.
