Psychology appointments
Psychological support is essential in any situation that affects our mental health, such as: sadness, anxiety, difficulties coping with physical illness, family problems, academic challenges, sexuality, self-esteem, eating disorders, addictions, delusions, aggression, suicidal thoughts, among others.
- If you’re struggling with:
- adjusting to a new life?
- coping with anxiety?
- being away from your family?
- feeling homesick?
- making decisions?
- keeping up with the pace of higher education?
book your psychology appointment.
Our sessions take the form of a guided conversation with an experienced psychologist, in a calm environment, with complete privacy and confidentiality.
We’re here to help you understand the root causes of your difficulties, become more independent, and develop the tools to overcome the challenges you’re facing.

In-person or online, these appointments are free of charge for Polytechnic University of Leiria’ students.
Attention: If you’re an international student, we offer psychology sessions in English and Spanish.
