Polytechnic University of Leiria Formalizes Collaboration Protocol with Nanyang Technological University (NTU)

On May 3, 2024, the Polytechnic University of Leiria signed a memorandum of understanding with Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, aiming to foster cooperation in research, development, and innovation. The agreement also opens the way for a strategic partnership geared towards executing projects of mutual interest in engineering and technology areas, also promoting exchanges in doctoral programs.

The signing ceremony featured the presence of NTU’s Vice President for Industry, Lam Khin Yong, alongside Zhou Kun, a key figure in research from the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, and Paulo Bártolo, a former lecturer at Leiria Polytechnic who now coordinates the 3D Printing Center at NTU (SC3DP).


With approximately 35,000 students, NTU is renowned for its excellence in the Asian academic landscape, particularly known for its strengths in Engineering, Business, Sciences, Medicine, Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
