Merit Awards

Definition

The incentive mechanisms, referred to as the Merit Award, take the form of a reduction in the payment for international students, amounting to 50% of the fixed tuition fee for the respective study cycle.

Process

Only applications submitted in the 1st Phase will be considered eligible for the incentive. After the ranking process, the merit awards are granted in descending order of the approved ranking list to students whose application score is 16 or higher (on a scale of 0 to 20).

Conditions for granting

Students awarded the Merit Award must complete their enrollment and pay the first tuition installment within the predefined deadlines. If a student fails to enroll within the specified period, they will forfeit the Merit Award, which will then be granted to the next eligible candidate on the ranking list who is not receiving a scholarship.

Maintenance Conditions

  • Once a student has been awarded the Merit Award, this incentive mechanism is maintained for the duration of the study cycle, provided that they remain enrolled in a full-time regime and achieve academic success in the previous academic year.

Number of scholarships available

For each TeSP, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral study cycle, two Merit Awards will be granted.

How can I apply?

The application is subject to the completion of the Registration Form, which will be available until the end of the 1st application phase.
